LOLC CARE is the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of the LOLC Group. Launched in 2009, this initiative was designed to implement our vision for sustainability, whilst undertaking numerous initiatives for community development and environmental protection.

Through this program, we have been successful in completing a project aimed at Child Development & Empowerment in partnership with National Council for Child and Youth Welfare (NCCYW), which is a non-governmental organization set up to look after the wellbeing of underprivileged children. At present, they manage several children's homes located island wide.

During the first phase of the LOLC CARE project, we provided assistance to renovate and maintain the "Madiwela Special Education and Home for Boys", which provides housing, education and care for differently abled boys and male adults. We also provided financial assistance to construct a new wing to accommodate six additional occupants, and during the second phase we constructed a brand new children's home named "LOLC CARE Child Development Centre" for 50 young, orphaned boys.

It is our aim to provide necessary infrastructural, financial and welfare support, to ensure that the occupants of both Homes are looked after and given the necessary skills for their individual growth and integration into society as empowered individuals.
